Unified Statewide Platform

A unified AEA effort leads to the creation of an Iowa specific online professional learning platform for mandatory and elective trainings and courses.

Credits

Authorized as a license renewal credit provider. Local universities also offer graduate credit on our platform. Instructors build and offer credit for learning experiences.

AEA PD Online Begins

Growth in internet speeds and hardware capabilities allow for selected trainings to be offered via the web.

Digital Era

Statewide required educator trainings begin to be offered through AEAs on DVD and CD-ROM rather than only face-to-face.
